ABOUT BEC WILKIN

I am an executive leader with over 20 years’ experience working at the intersection of strategy, partnerships and system reform in complex social policy and human services environments.I have held senior and executive roles responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams, managing complex service portfolios and translating strategy and policy into practical, measurable outcomes. I am particularly experienced in stakeholder engagement, governance, organisational improvement and working across government, community and corporate environments.My professional background in family violence and sexual assault services has provided a strong grounding in trauma-informed practice, gender equality and the social determinants that shape access to safety and support. More broadly, this experience has developed my ability to operate effectively in complex, high-pressure environments, navigate competing priorities and support teams and organisations through change.I have extensive experience working collaboratively with government departments, peak bodies, community organisations and private sector partners to design and implement initiatives, improve systems and strengthen service responses.I am currently completing an Executive MBA through Melbourne Business School, further strengthening my strategic, financial and systems thinking and expanding my capability to operate at executive and cross-sector levels.Professional interests: strategy and reform, partnerships, social impact, policy implementation, organisational performance, and leadership in complex systems.
