Software engineering manager by day, competitive West Coast Swing dancer by night!I strongly believe that as much as software development is about the technology and the code, it\'s also about the people. I strive to build a workplace that people want to be a part of. To do that, I think it\'s important to build a culture of mentorship and trust, so that we can build everyone up and make sure everyone is included and able to perform at their peak capabilities.Outside of programming, I also travel the US dancing West Coast Swing competitively! While the travel is fun, I really enjoy building up my local community through teaching and organizing weekend long events. Similar to programming teams, I want my dance community to be a better place, and I want to influence that by making people better dancers and helping everyone feel welcome in our community and in our events.
