Chartered Civil Engineer (CEng MICE) and dam engineer with 20 years\' experience working in the UK and Australia. Project experience includes dams & reservoirs, flood risk, drainage, geotechnical investigation, asset inspection, river engineering and site development. Experienced in all phases of civil engineering design and construction, including feasibility, concept design, detailed design, tender documentation, construction planning & construction supervision.I am skilled at working with clients to better understand their drivers and barriers to delivery, ensuring that outcomes meet their long term aspirations, whilst being balanced against programme and cost.I have developed considerable experience in dam engineering and am appointed as a Reservoir Supervising Engineer under the Reservoirs Act 1975 and Reservoirs (Scotland) Act 2011. In April 2020, I joined the committee of the British Dam Society, working to coordinate the UK’s representation at ICOLD. I have a keen interest in mentoring & knowledge sharing, acting as an ICE delegated engineer.
