The key purpose of the role is to support the growth of CONNSTEP, Inc. The role will develop relationships with all the key stakeholders and current funders and identify potential new funders. Working alongside the senior management team, the Partnerships and Development Director will support the development of relationships in the US market with the aim of securing funding and/or develop strategic partnerships to support the CONNSTEP, Inc mission. Key stakeholders include but are not limited to private and public (federal and state) agencies; other NIST MEPS in the US; quasi-public organizations; foundations; national labs; federally funded research development centers; workforce boards; academic institutions; regional economic development organizations.Key responsibilities 1. Work in close collaboration with the senior management team to fulfil the strategic growth of CONNSTEP, Inc and impact. Take responsibility, in close collaboration and coordination with the senior management team, for developing strong relationships with key stakeholders 3. Set and achieve realistic time-limited development targets, agreed in consultation with CEO and senior management team. Carry out prospect research and develop yearly development plans and a strong funding pipeline. Continually seek and develop new and appropriate contacts and partnerships with relevant individuals and organizations to support the CONNSTEP, Inc mission and brand 6. In close coordination with key colleagues, seek and develop new contacts and partnerships with relevant individuals and organizations in the NIST MEP organization 7. Develop a plan for sustainable and diverse source of funds portfolio in support of CONNSTEP, Inc8. Support and/or lead on the development of funding and grant proposals 9. Deliver growth in funding, reporting on progress against targets quarterly. 10.Lead communication with relevant key funders
