ABOUT AYALA GORDON
I’m a multi award-winning digital Service Owner and product leader with over 15 years’ experience delivering complex digital services at national scale across health, public sector, education, and regulated environments.I’m currently a Service Owner at Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW), where I’m responsible for the end-to-end ownership of live digital services supporting primary care in Wales. I work closely with policy, delivery, product, and design teams to align Welsh Government digital strategy, user needs, and technical delivery. My focus is on making sure services are reliable, secure, accessible, and able to scale, and that they work well for patients, clinicians, and staff.Previously, as Associate Director of Digital User Experience at the University of Southampton, I led the vision, strategy, and governance for public-facing digital services used by millions of people. I helped embed user-centred design, accessibility (WCAG), agile ways of working, and data-led decision-making across multi-disciplinary teams, and our work received industry and recognitions.I specialise in service ownership, product strategy, roadmap planning, stakeholder engagement, and governance. I enjoy turning national policy and organisational priorities into clear plans and measurable outcomes. I’m particularly motivated by improving patient, clinician, and staff experience, and by the ethical use of data and technology to deliver better public services.
