About Andy Logan
In my roles across companies, I work to help solve our customer needs though education and direct feedback to product teams. Through a combination of communication, education, and listening, I help improve customer experiences with a better product-market fit. I have worked in both user facing and behind the scenes roles to advocate for better products that solve real-world problems.Technology products can easily fall into the trap of adding features and making changes that are not intuitive for the end user. Often a clear explanation and discussion of features and use cases help users understand where a product fits and how it helps them achieve their goals. Through written documentation, reference guides, videos, podcasts, and communities I enable users to move forward with a clear understanding of the solution’s capabilities. Once users understand the technology, it’s important to identify gaps or improvements that can increase adoption and satisfaction with the product. This can be direct feedback leveraging user communities, customer-focused events, and feedback surveys. That feedback must be translated into an actionable requirement for product teams to deliver against. Ensuring the product teams hear the customer’s needs and have a clear understanding of the product direction, supported by timely feedback, helps both the product and user’s organization succeed. My work is most successful in smaller organizations where I can make a direct difference within the company across internal teams. I connect people across different groups to bring together diverse perspectives and feedback that otherwise might not be included in the conversation. Connecting teams working on similar goals in parallel improves focus on solving customer issues and ensuring we all succeed together.
