Managing Director at CW Financial Services LLC and affiliated companies where he is responsible for management of all corporate risk exposures. The firm’s focus is commercial real estate services, to include special serviced assets, finance, risk management, advisory, technology solutions, and disposition services. George O\'Neil joined CWCapital as Vice President in June 2005 when the firm was a growing $5 billion, private commercial mortgage banker and primary loan servicing firm. Over the past 18 years, George managed risk for a growing complex commercial debt and real estate portfolio that at it\'s peak reached $45 billion with $18 billion of REO assets comprising nearly one thousand properties across North America on behalf of trust clients. In addition, Mr. O\'Neil heads ConvergentRisk, a subsidiary specialty risk management and insurance consulting firm. George was formally trained as a commercial insurance underwriter by Chubb & Son, Inc. in their New York office and over an twenty three year period, held successively more responsible positions with other firms in commercial property and casualty underwriting, to include line underwriter, supervisor, underwriting manager and product executive, ultimately serving as head of International with AIG/Lexington Insurance Company (NYSE:AIG) and later division head of Diversified Property for RLI Insurance Company (NYSE:RLI). Mr. O\'Neil is a graduate of Salve Regina University, Newport, RI where he earned an M.S. in Management, he also holds a B.S. in Business Administration (Insurance Major) from the University of Rhode Island, Kingston, Rhode Island. In addition to academic degrees, he holds financial, risk and insurance professional designations to include Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter® (CPCU®), Associate in Risk Management® (ARM®), Certified Risk Manager® (CRM®) and Certified Insurance Counselor® (CIC®). Mr O’Neil served over twenty years on active duty and active reserve duty in the United States Air Force, enlisting as an airman at age 17 then rising through the enlisted ranks before being selected for officer commissioning and retiring as a Major (O-4)while still in his 30’s.
