I now serve as the first Executive Assistant for IHDA\'s new Strategic Response Unit (SRU). This position is an exciting next step in my professional journey of building organizational structures, with my highest scope of impact yet, the state of Illinois. Furthermore, the role reflects a continuation in the realm of housing, building off of my previous role at a reputable homelessness-focused nonprofit. While leading SRU\'s administrative functions, including supporting our Director, I co-chair program outreach efforts and advise on workplace culture strategy as our team transitions into a post-COVID world. I already take great pride in my work with IHDA, in light of our outreach efforts receiving commendation from the U.S. Treasury. SRU has been entrusted with administering emergency housing assistance grants for Illinois; I am thrilled to be uplifting our evolving team so we can better uplift our state\'s residents.
