ABOUT ASTOLFI MARCO

With over 20 years of experience in the broadcast industry, I am a seasoned professional who leads the booking and liaison department at HBS, a specialist host broadcast organisation that delivers the television and radio signals for the FIFA World Cups, Rugby World Cups, World Athletics Events, CONCACAF Gold Cups, CONMEBOL Copa America and other major sport events. I am passionate about providing high-quality and personalised services to media rights licensees and broadcasters, and ensuring the maximum success of their operations. As I speak three languages and have worked in different cultural contexts, I bring diverse perspectives and experiences in my daily management activities with my team. As the Head of Booking and Liaison at HBS, I am responsible of the teams fulfilling and scheduling the unilateral services and facilities requests of the TVs and radios broadcasters who cover the events that HBS is the host broadcaster for, on behalf of our major clients, such as FIFA, World Rugby, World Athletics and CONCACAF. I also oversee the liaison teams at the venues, who offer personalised assistance to the broadcasters who have booked unilateral services. I have successfully managed the booking and liaison operations for several events, such as the 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018, and 2022 FIFA World Cups, 2015, 2019 and 2023 FIFA Women\'s World Cups, the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, the 2019 and 2023 Rugby World Cups and the 2021 and 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cups. I have demonstrated strong skills in television, broadcast, as well as in communication, coordination, and problem-solving.
