Engagement and consultation with internal HS2 teams and external suppliers / stakeholders contributing to the successful implementation and delivery of the Network Integration Control Centre (NICC).• Specifying NICC integration features and requirements, instructing them to sub-system delivery contracts. Engaging in the monitoring, review and assurance of the holistic technical solutions that are being delivered from design through to testing and commissioning.• Ensuring health and safety, ergonomics and human factors are fully considered along with working closely with safety and ergonomics teams to maximise the efficiency of the NICC and the training facility.• Supporting the technical assurance of the NICC design during delivery phases of the railway in accordance with standards and technical requirements; supporting where necessary the resolution of issues in accordance with HS2 Governance Procedures.• Supporting sub-system discipline lead engineers and subject matter experts in the development of requirements, specifications and standards for the NICC Integration such that they meet HS2 operations and maintenance concepts.
