As a Small business banker, I provide a full range of services to core small business customers with complex needs, provide exceptional customer service, and building lasting relationships. • Build and grow relationships with a dedicated book of small business customers by asking questions to learn about their financial needs, understanding their goals, and sharing how SouthState Bank can help them by following up through proactive outreach, phone or in person visits. • Evaluate, authorize, or recommend approval of commercial and consumer real estate, or credit loans. Advise borrowers on financial status and payment methods. • Serve as leaders in understanding and managing risks in the business, adhere to policies, procedures, and controls, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. • Deepen the lending and full banking relationship by providing clients with an overview of other financial products and services available through SouthState Bank. Refer potential opportunities with a seamless handoff. Take initiative to open accounts to support the growth of new checking accounts, credit cards, deposits, loans, Merchant services, Treasury Services and Wealth Management leads. • Help achieve the overall branch success, including branch profitability, sales, customer service and support, and staff development. • Provide exceptional loan service to clients, including information gathering, assessing client\'s needs, financial counseling, application completion and processing, inform clients of ongoing process and attends/assist in the coordination of the loan closing. • Engage with customers in all phases of the business life cycle while following policies and leveraging product knowledge and conduct needs-based conversations to identify credit, deposit, and service processing needs.
