High Performance Compute Platform Support in Barclays (BX) Run the Bank Organization used by our clients in Markets and Risk Finance & Treasury Business Units to execute their complex risk calculations on the platform. This is a Hybrid compute platform comprising of on-premise, aPaaS, AWS, Azure infrastructure on Windows & Linux.In this role accountable for - Ensuring high availability of compute platform and application stability- Ensuring L2 support for production issues focused on faster service recovery and thus minimizing MTTR- Driving improvement across run services to improve client experience & services - Optimizing TCO by reduction in incidents, automations and supporting CIO on the cloud strategy- Support technology and infrastructure remediation- Ensuring compliance to Bank standards and practices- Provide intelligent insights and early warnings on capacity constraints to minimize incidents due to capacity constraints- Ensure appropriate change governance on all IT changes into production- Drive improvements to reduce failed changes and avoid unauthorized changes- Maintain large scale distribution calculation platform. Own configuration design. Develop and maintain delivery pipelines- Consultancy of platform clients. Demand and capacity management- On-board new applications and clients- Third line support. Work with support team for deep investigation in design and product issues. Work with vendor- Coordinate projects for migration, upgrades, on-boarding new technologies etc- Experience integrating public cloud infrastructure with Grid middleware - TIBCO GridServer, IBM Spectrum Symphony.
