Barclaycard- I was a customer facing Project Manager working on a programme of work implementing a new capacity management function. I managed an onshore team of 5 and an offshore team of 6 capacity managers plan, create and sign off capacity plans for 98 applications within Barclaycard as well as designing and implementing process for effective capacity management. I was responsible for delivery to time, quality and budget utilising a range of project management tools and techniques. Project reporting to board and key stakeholders. Conducting Daily stand up’s and sprint preparation with the Scrum teams was essential to this role. HSBC- I was the Lead Project manager for the Hong Kong NAS/SAN storage migration onto new hardware. This consisted of over 900 migrations of Tier 0 and Tier 1 application across the whole of HSBC’s estate. I managed an international team of 11 people including SME’s to plan, schedule and migrate each NAS share. I provided regular coaching to the team as well as team building exercises. I was directly responsible for the producing, presenting and distributing of project reports to Board level sponsors. Daily activities included tracking, business analysis, reporting, scheduling of work order to the team to execute and managing budgets. I was a project manager involved in a major cyber security migration of all the banks backups to a secure vault, gated infrastructure. This was ensuring that all the banks cyber security frameworks were adhered too, it involved 50 of the most critical application systems. I was directly responsible for stakeholder management, reporting and migration co-ordination of a team of engineers.
