ABOUT ASAIAH GIFFORD
I’m a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at CU Boulder, with minors in both Spanish and Global Engineering. I’m passionate about incorporating diverse perspectives and cross-cultural understanding into engineering solutions that create positive impacts. I pursue experiential learning opportunities that allow me to expand my perspective, such as through my membership in the CU Engineers Without Borders Chapter, where I serve as the Spanish lead for our Guatemala project, and abroad experiences including the Barcelona Literature and Culture Global Seminar in Summer 2023. Community engagement is extremely important to me, as demonstrated by my involvement with organizations like the National Society of Black Engineers and New Era Colorado. I look forward to bringing my foundation of technical experience and my community-oriented mindset to the world of engineering and would love to connect.
