Majestic Kashmiri fine-dining at one of Leeds’ most prestigious venues sat by the beautiful Leeds Dock I\'ve always wanted a restaurant. Somewhere to go and dine family and friends. The financial element (if it works!) is just a bonus. So الحمد لله. an opportunity arose and with Allah’s grace I took it. I am happy to say I am now an equal partner in Mumtaz Leeds.It\'s a risk and I know food is not my field BUT servicing people, pro-activeness and drive is. So I pray Allah blesses this. I also ask for your prayers and support. It will be lovely to now be able to thank friends, family and clients’ with complimentary discounts and deals. It’s not local in Peterborough but it will allow people to have a lovely day out in the ‘Mayfair of Leeds’ by the lovely docks. ان شاء الله this will bring its own baraqah. One of my teacher’s told me that one form of ‘dawah\' is not just to invite people for food but to give them money or ability to go out with their own family and friends to eat. I hope I can now practice this. A LOT of new ideas to come. New menu, new designs and outdoor dining (and shisha) by the docks…I think this will be something truly special and unique! The goal is to make this the Dorchester of restaurants. ABOUT ASAD ARIF

I\'m a solicitor with a (brace yourself) PRO-ACTIVE work ethic. I feel strongly, VERY STRONGLY, about fulfilling client expectations and supporting them in their goals whilst providing clarity and excellent communication. For me, complacency is not an option. You have to always be striving to be the best version of you. I apply this mentality to myself to remain motivated in achieving my personal goals, and as an inevitable result, I achieve the objectives of my Note to reader you have time, please read, below, my view on \"what makes a good solicitor\". A solicitor MUST know how to work independently and MUST understand that for the client the most important task he has to carry out is to become the firm core and foundation for his client. Knowing how to work in a team is important BUT a solicitor must fully appreciate that a client instructs him to not only carry out a job, in which they are fully trusting and relying on that solicitor, but to always be up to date with all information the client needs and to be the sole contact point at any given moment. Most professionals (not only solicitors) seem to adopt this belief that client loyalty has gone & it comes down to \"costs\". NO! Client loyalty is there. They just need something to be loyal too.I aim to be that solicitor they can fully rely on - not just in getting the work completed but also in simple things like \"returning a phone call promptly\". Once trust and respect are established then I have seen time and time again \"costs\" are not as important to the client anymore.
