We generate about 15 pounds of used electronics per capita worldwide; that’s a lot of electronics sadly less than 20% of that is recycled. The faster we can get those used electronics recycled the right way the better it is for all of us. That means higher profit margins for carriers, more fundraising options for non-profits, more data protection for corporations, and it’s also a very GREEN thing to do. At Desert Wireless Recycling, we’re proud to have built an electronics recycler from the ground-up. Since opening in 2006, we have kept an estimated 5 million phones, batteries and accessories out of landfills. We have the capacity to handle ALL makes and models of cell phones and iPods/MP3 players and out-of-date electronics. None of our wireless products, electronic equipment or accessories ever goes to a landfill. We are committed to the environment and the community and will work to preserve both. Everything is either processed for resale or disposed of in an environmentally safe way. We are in compliance for Electronic Material Recycling with the Federal Government through our downstream partner in the United States who performs our EPA certified recycling for environmentally safe destruction of all electronic scrap. We are very environmentally conscious with all our processes. All of the facilities used are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations for the services they provide. All materials provided to our downstream vendors are recycled for destruction with no residual waste.
