Managing, reviewing and leading audits and other reviews within agreed timescales that support the audit opinion in a manner that is consistent with Internal Audit’s standards, methodologies, and processes. Preparing high quality written reports on relevant governance, risk management and control issues and communicating these to Management, agreeing action plans and tracking such issues for resolution with agreed timelines. Building effective working relationships with senior business managers during audits and other assignments, as well as outside the specific audit activity. Delivery of inputs for Audit Opinion and local Audit Committee and Board reporting. Involvement in annual planning. Carrying out ICOFR testing, and other ICOFR-related assignments. Gaining a thorough understanding of current and emerging governance, risk management and control processes.
