ABOUT ARAVINDHAN G

I hold a Master’s degree in Politics and International Relations from Pondicherry Central University, with deep research in international political economy, foreign policy, and governance. My dissertation examined Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) opportunities and barriers in India’s electric vehicle sector, reflecting my focus on sustainable economic policy and international investments.I have served as a Research Intern at the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, where I published “Assessing the Impact of U.S. Sanctions on Russian Oil in Trade Dynamics and Global Oil Markets.” I have also cleared UGC NET in Political Science.Currently, I am pursuing the Mukherjee Fellowship under the Policy, Politics and Governance Foundation (PPGF), having been selected among the top 0.6% of applicants. Through this fellowship, I am working at the intersection of politics, public policy, and governance.My leadership experience includes roles as Elected Class Representative at Pondicherry University, School Pupil Leader, and Vice President of the Interact Club (Rotary Sponsored), where I organized events, managed resources, and facilitated policy discussions. I have also participated in national programs such as the Auroville Youth Camp (Ministry of Culture) and Yuva Sangam (Ministry of Education), enriching my understanding of India’s socio-political diversity.Passionate about psephology, governance, and policy-making, I aim to contribute to nation-building and strengthen India’s global engagement through impactful research and policy work.
