Over 10+ years of experience in IT industry with prime focus in Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) applications for Data Warehouses and Data marts using IBM InfoSphere DataStage (server and parallel extender).• Extensively involved in the development of DataStage ETL process for extracting data from different data sources, data transformation and loading the data into Data Warehouse from Data Mart operations.• Extensively worked on different DataStage versions 11.5/11.3/ 9.1/8.7• Experienced in working all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Requirements gathering, Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and Implementation.• Experience in working with various source systems like Teradata, Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server.• Extensive knowledge and experience in designing the Server jobs using various stages (Sort, Merge, Aggregator, Transformer, Link Collector, Link Partitioner, InterProcess), Parallel jobs using stages (Aggregator, Funnel, Filter, Look-up, Surrogate Key, Remove Duplicate, Transformer, Column/Row Generator, Peek, Merge, FTP, Change Capture, Change Apply etc.).• Experience in preparing Job Sequences for the existing jobs to facilitate scheduling of multiple jobs in development, testing and production environments.• Worked on Local Containers, Shared Containers, Built-in routines, User-defined routines, before and after sub routines for data cleansing.• Extensive knowledge in Pipeline/Partition parallelism and partitioning methods like Round Robin, Entire, Hash, Modulus and Range.• IBM Info Sphere DataStage EE/Parallel Extender as an ETL to extract data from sources like Teradata, Oracle, DB2, XML and flat files and loaded to target tables.• Expertise in creating shell scripts and strong knowledge in Control-M and AUTOSYS scheduling tools to schedule the developed ETL jobs.• Developed the required data warehouse model using Star schema and Snowflake schema for the generalized model.• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.
