ABOUT ANTON H. LABRENTZ

Anton H. Labrentz is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization.He is a licensed member of the California, Oregon, Washington, and Tennessee State Bars in good standing. He is also admitted to the United States District Court, Central District of California. Anton has twice been named a \"Super Lawyers Rising Star of Southern California\" as seen in \"Los Angeles\" magazine and is a recipient of the Beverly Hills Bar Association’s \"Lawrence J. Blake Award for Dedicated Service to the Public.\"He is presently a Probate, Business, and Civil Litigator at Darling & Wilson, PC where he supervises, prosecutes, and defends matters in high stakes and complex Trusts, Estates, and Probate cases, and those rooted in Real Property and Contract/Business Law from client consultation through trial, judgment, and jury verdict. He also prepares and administers Trusts and Estate plans and handles Conservatorships and Guardianships.Prior to Darling & Wilson, PC, Anton maintained a full-service criminal defense practice in Los Angeles involving felony drug, alcohol, weapon, and assault charges, among others. Anton is a certified DUI and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST) Attorney Practitioner by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and a graduate of the Los Angeles County Bar Association\'s (LACBA) Trial Advocacy Project (TAP) Course and the California Public Defenders Association\'s (CPDA) Annual Trial Skills Institute.Before opening his own office, Anton practiced as a criminal defense associate at The Law Office of Mark Rosenfeld in Beverly Hills, handling matters from initial client intake to arraignments, pre-trial, preliminary, suppression, Pitchess, and DMV Admin Per Se Hearings, discovery and motions, through trial and jury verdict in DUI, drug, weapon, and driving-related cases.From 20••••12, Anton worked at O\'Melveny & Myers in the Century City and Los Angeles offices in the Electronic Discovery and Document Retention Practice responding to civil pretrial discovery defending corporations and their directors and officers in securities class actions, shareholder derivative actions, SEC enforcement proceedings, unfair competition and consumer class actions, as well as RICO, DMCA, and mergers and acquisitions litigation.Anton began his career at the San Francisco Public Defender\'s office and has used his experience to successfully advocate for his clients in private practice ever since.
