ABOUT ANTHONY SANTORA

As Managing Director of Information Technology at the United States Golf Association (USGA), I lead enterprise-wide technology strategy and drive innovation, security, and operational excellence across the organization. From powering championship operations—including the U.S. Open, which supports on‑site fans and millions of digital viewers—to modernizing core systems, my focus is delivering technology that elevates the game and the fan experience. With over 20 years of experience spanning technology strategy, program delivery, and cybersecurity, I’ve played a key role in transforming the USGA’s digital ecosystem. Highlights include architecting and launching the USGA’s cloud platform that underpins USGA.org and USOpen.com, establishing the Project Management Office and cybersecurity practice, overseeing the nationwide rollout of GHIN to more than 3 million golfers, and advancing the organization’s capabilities in artificial intelligence. My USGA career has included multiple leadership roles—Senior Director of IT Planning & Delivery, Director of Project Management, and Senior Project Manager—each focused on scaling technology, strengthening governance, and enabling the association’s long‑term vision. Before joining the USGA, I held senior IT roles at Brother International Corporation and began my career as a software engineer at Bare Necessities.I hold an M.S. in Information Systems from Stevens Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Business Administration from Rowan University. I’m known for a collaborative leadership style and a commitment to building strong partnerships—internally and externally—to deliver secure, scalable, and forward‑thinking technology solutions that support the USGA’s mission.
