ABOUT ANSHUM GOSWAMI

I’m an Advocate with nearly a decade of experience working at the intersection of law, policy, and humanitarian response; committed to advancing the rights of people who are too often left behind by systems. My work has spanned legal representation for survivors of trafficking, bonded labour, and child sexual abuse, to building policy and programmatic solutions for refugees and stateless populations. What drives me is solving complex problems where rights are at stake, whether it’s negotiating access for displaced communities, unlocking support through humanitarian diplomacy, or designing legal empowerment models that can work at scale. I’ve worked closely with governments, UN agencies, and civil society actors to influence policies, raise resources, and build multi-stakeholder responses that are not only effective, but humane. With a background in Law and Development (LL.M, Azim Premji University), my approach is both rights-based and deeply practical. I’m currently focused on building sustainable, replicable solutions that help refugees reunite with families, access pathways to safety, and navigate systems with dignity. I believe legal tools can change lives, but only when they’re rooted in context, co-created with communities, and backed by political will. If you\'re working to make systems more just, humane, and responsive - I’d love to connect!
