Formerly operating as a Slug & Lettuce venue, Fox on the Green was repositioned under the SPK brand, offering a vibrant mix of live sports, casual dining, and social events.This live-in leadership role placed me at the core of day-to-day operations, combining hands-on management with strategic oversight in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Running full front- and back-of-house operations, including team management, rota planning, stock control, and health & safety compliance.Leading a team in delivering excellent guest experiences in a busy sports-focused venue with multiple screens, live event days, and high footfall.Overseeing cellar management and maintaining high standards in product quality and presentation.Driving sales through local marketing initiatives, promotions, and strong community engagement.Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training of team members to align with Stonegate’s service standards.Managing shift reports, cash handling, and end-of-day reconciliation.Acting as the primary point of contact during senior management absence, with full accountability for the site\'s performance.My time at Fox on the Green sharpened my ability to lead in a dynamic, customer-centric environment while upholding the brand values of the Social Pub & Kitchen concept—friendly, inclusive, and socially driven hospitality.
