ABOUT ANNA CAWRSE
Anna is a landscape architect who has worked on and managed complex built projects and master plans across North America. From large regional parks along major waterways, to small art plazas within the urban fabric of cities, Anna brings an expertise on how to transition master planning of the public realm into realized space. At every design scale, she has committed her practice to bringing nature into cities based on context-sensitive solutions and looks for innovative ways to create these connections. Anna is dedicated to engaging the community in all of her projects and strives to create designs that reflect the current and future communities’ needs. Her passion for design and the community allows her to tackle the complexity of built projects, while considering the project’s impact on local communities and the environment.Anna’s commitment to community and the environment is also evident in her academic work. As an Adjunct Professor at Northeastern University’s Sustainable Urban Environments, she teaches the class “Social Systems—Engagement in Practice,” bringing community engagement ideas to students of architecture, urban design, and landscape architecture. Anna holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design, and Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from Colorado State University.
