ABOUT ANISH SARAOGI

Software Engineer passionate about building robust backend systems, leveraging cloud technologies, and delivering high-quality, impactful solutions. Currently developing my skills within the Xero Graduate Program, I thrive in collaborative and fast-paced environments, quickly adapting to new technologies and challenges.During my first graduate rotation at Xero, I\'ve gained hands-on experience developing and testing backend API endpoints using C#/.NET Core, contributing to operational tasks with AWS Lambda and SumoLogic, and exploring mobile development with Swift. I\'m proficient in writing comprehensive unit and E2E tests (Postman) and deploying features within an Agile framework, actively participating in pair programming and team ceremonies. My foundation includes automating processes using AWS and CI/CD tools, demonstrating strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Software Engineering from UNSW Sydney (CGPA: 3.93/4.0), where I built a strong foundation in software design, algorithms, and computer systems. My technical skills include C#.NET Core, Python, Java, AWS, Swift, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, TeamCity), Docker, SQL, and various testing methodologies.Previously, I gained valuable experience as a Software Engineering Intern at InterSystems (ObjectScript, HTML/CSS/JS) and undertook diverse projects including web development and cloud infrastructure management (e.g, CloudChaos AWS project). My background also includes leadership roles and community involvement during university, developing strong communication and teamwork skills.I am eager to continue learning and contributing to challenging projects, particularly in backend development and cloud engineering.
