ABOUT ANGELA SEIDEL
I am a Chair, Board and Council Member and Executive General Manager with over ten years of board level experience across the commercial & not for profit sectors with particular experience in the risk management, FMCG, transport, printing, marketing, health, safety, environment, community services, tertiary education and the resources industries. At board level some highlights include being an inaugural Member of the Australian OHS Accreditation Education Board, a Non-Executive Director for the Australian Building Sustainability Association, a Lay Member for the NSW Health Professional Councils Authority Tribunals and the Lead Certification Assessor with the Australian Institute of Health & Safety. Here, I have been involved in the development and monitoring of governance processes and financial reviews. In an executive capacity, most recently I was the National Risk Manager for Lifestyle Solutions. Previously, I was the Executive General Manager for OHSE and Risk with PMP Limited responsible for leading the strategy, policy, standards, systems, audit and compliance aspects of risk for the entire business. I was also the General Manager SH & E for the Patrick Ports and Stevedoring Division and the Chief Risk Officer for Goodman Fielder. I also held various specialist OHS positions with Coal and Allied, Rio Tinto. Holding an MBA, Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance and a Graduate of the AICD’s Company Directors Course. I am a Chartered Secretary and a Fellow Member of the Governance Institute of Australia.
