Since opening its doors in 1923, Hammer’s passion to provide quality services for people with developmental disabilities has helped thousands experience life to its fullest. Effective January 1, 2023 Hammer and Northeast Residence officially merged and became “Hammer & NER”.We currently serve 360 individuals who reside in 59 group homes and are integrated into 9 apartment programs in the Minneapolis and St. Paul metro area.More than 1,088 community leaders and family members gave a breathtaking $1,744,887 to Hammer & NER in 2022.
