I was excited to take over as owner of the Rogers Young Chef’s Academy in April 2024, following a 17-year career in the field of retail and financial services marketing. As a parent, one of my goals is to ensure my children have practical skills to carry into adulthood. Owning this business allows me to take this vision beyond my own family.Personally, I love food from different countries – especially my mom’s authentic Chinese cooking. My mom was such a great cook, I didn’t even learn to boil pasta until I was in college! Over time, I taught myself to cook and I fell in love with everything about it.Young Chef’s Academy brings children valuable and practical life skills. Each month has a unique theme and each class allows kids to build their skills over time, ultimately allowing them to master increasingly complex food preparation and presentation.
