ABOUT ANDREW DANIEL TANUWIJAYA

Andrew is the Founder and CEO of SFC (Shoesmart Fashion Corp), a D2C fashion house and a B2B fashion production services start-up. We are built with a mission to provide local, great quality, accessible and affordable all spectrums of our daily fashion attire ranging from footwear, apparel to accessories. We aim to be the Indonesian top of mind fashion and apparel group. Prior to that, Andrew had years of experience in the footwear industry. While pursuing his Bachelor of Commerce in China, he worked as a Merchandiser - Buyer for his family business. He correlated with several trading companies in China to penetrate the Indonesian footwear fashion market. In 2013, upon his return from China, he acted as Strategic Operations Manager. He ensured effective collaboration with manufacturing partners and other business functions. One of its successes was developing the production effectiveness of Mega Jaya Shoe Factory with manufacturing partners, which resulted in a 0% delay in delivery to the largest department store in Indonesia, Matahari Dept Store (PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk). His passion for entrepreneurship and curiosity about online retail led him to become the Founder and Director of Jaya Shoes Group, a multi-brand footwear distributor company. Under his leadership, Jaya Shoes Group has grown from dozens to thousands of transactions per year. Jaya Shoes Group won Top 10 Brands from Zalora in 2017 and Best Merchant Blibli for East Java Fashion in 2019. Andrew founded his first startup Shoesmart back in September 2019. Shoesmart is a vertical footwear e-commerce platform serving SMEs and well known local brands. Andrew then created his second startup SFC (Shoesmart Fashion Corp) in September 2022.
