ABOUT ANDREW LY
I’m a Management Information Systems major at California State University, Chico, driven by a passion for excellence in leadership, execution, and impact. I’m committed to building systems, initiatives, and communities that operate with clarity, and purpose. Academically, I’m goal-oriented and intentional, setting clear objectives and following through with discipline. Professionally, I take a process-focused approach, designing structures that improve collaboration, strengthen accountability, and turn vision into results. Currently, I serve as College of Business Senator, President of OSCM Club & BIS Society, Philanthropy Chair of Eta Mu Theta, and Vice Chair of the AS Facilities Committee. Across these roles, I work at the intersection of student advocacy, professional development, and operational strategy, helping elevate the student experience while maintaining a focus on long-term growth and sustainability. Previously, I served as Technology Officer and Vice President of BSIS Society, and held multiple executive roles within Delta Sigma Pi, including President, Vice President of Chapter Operations, Professional Activities, Scholarship and Awards, and Webmaster. These experiences sharpened my ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex initiatives, and execute projects end-to-end with consistency and precision. Before transferring to Chico, I served as a Student Senator and Basic Needs Center Ambassador at Sierra College, while also holding Secretary and Treasurer positions in several organizations. These early leadership experiences built a strong foundation in strategic planning, resource management, and service-driven leadership. In addition, I freelance as a web developer, designing and launching user-focused websites that help individuals and businesses strengthen their digital presence. This hands-on experience allows me to apply technical knowledge with a focus on quality and measurable impact.I’m always eager to connect with individuals value excellence, integrity, and forward momentum. Let’s connect!
