I grew up in Nauvoo, Illinois — a small river town most people have never heard of. We didn\'t have much, but I learned early that hard work and the right choices compound over time. That mindset has shaped everything I\'ve done since. I started my career as an Administrator in Training with Ensign Services — one of the most rigorous and respected operator programs in the country. That experience forged my operational foundation and planted a belief I still carry: that even the most broken facility can be turned around with the right leadership, the right culture, and an unwillingness to accept mediocrity. Since then, I\'ve done exactly that — three times over. As Executive Director at Beacon Health Management and then as LNHA at Care Initiatives\' New London Specialty Care, I led full operational turnarounds in challenged skilled nursing facilities. At Care Initiatives, I took a struggling 46-bed SNF to agency-free staffing, a deficiency-free state survey, 100% occupancy, and consistent monthly profitability — all by building a team culture rooted in accountability, compassion, and pride. Today, I serve as Executive Director at Lutheran Living Senior Campus in Muscatine, Iowa — one of the state\'s largest Continuing Care Retirement Communities — where I\'m leading a strategic turnaround across a 155-bed SNF, assisted living, and independent living campus. It\'s the most demanding role of my career, and the most meaningful. I hold an active LNHA license in Iowa, Nebraska, and Utah, and I\'m completing my MBA in Healthcare Administration at the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business. I\'m passionate about long-term care, not as an industry checkbox, but as a calling. Every resident in a nursing home deserves excellent care, a safe environment, and people who show up fighting for them every day. I intend to keep being one of those people — and to keep building teams that are too.    As Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) at Lutheran Living Senior Campus in Muscatine, Iowa—one of the state’s largest Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs)—I currently lead a comprehensive, not-for-profit organization overseen by a dedicated Board of Directors. The campus features a 155-bed skilled nursing facility (SNF), 28 assisted living beds, and 12 independent living units, delivering a full continuum of compassionate, faith-informed care rooted in the legacy of the Lutheran Homes Society (established 1885).This role represents the most significant leadership challenge—and the most profoundly rewarding—of my career.
