ABOUT ANDRÉS MARQUINA GONZALEZ
I\'m Andres. I build marketing and data infrastructure for outdoor hospitality — right now, across 11+ parks in the U.S. Northeast under the Happy Grounds brand. Not from a whitepaper. Not from a consulting deck. From inside a real organization, with real constraints, in real time. Here\'s what that actually looks like: Connecting HubSpot, PostHog, GA4, BigQuery, and ClickUp into one system — so leadership stops making decisions on feelings and starts making them on data. Building a loyalty program in an industry where almost nobody has one.(The barrier isn\'t technology. It\'s that someone has to own it.) Creating seasonal booking funnels that fill shoulder season instead of praying summer bails you out. Replacing cross-departmental chaos with an operating system that runs without me in the room. What I\'ve learned the hard way:→ Your booking platform is not a marketing strategy. Hipcamp, The Dyrt, Campspot — that\'s rented attention with a commission attached. Every booking through someone else\'s platform is a guest you can\'t reach tomorrow.→ Shoulder season doesn\'t fill itself. It\'s a positioning failure. You haven\'t given the right guest a compelling reason to come in May. That\'s a marketing job.→ A clean CRM will show you exactly how bad your guest retention actually is. Most parks would rather not look. Look anyway.→ The parks that win long-term won\'t out-campaign their competitors. They\'ll out-system them. Who I write for: Park owners with a spreadsheet and gut instinct — this is for you. Marketing and ops leaders walking into budget meetings with feelings instead of dashboards — this is for you.I post daily about what I\'m building, what breaks, and what the outdoor hospitality industry still refuses to talk about.Follow along.
