Managed and executed the campaigning work of All Out in Spanish-speaking Latin America, including adapting the global work to regional audiences and vice versa.Led 10+ multilingual campaigns in countries such as Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Cuba, Guatemala, Chile, and Argentina.Led the media strategy that positioned the ban on the so-called “conversion therapies” in Colombia. The campaign gathered over signatures and was featured in high-level global media outlets such as El País, France24, and the BBC. It also made it to the front page of El Espectador, one of Colombia’s most influential newspapers.The campaign work I led also took an active role in supporting issues faced by the LGBT+ communities, such as marriage equality and trans rights.Developed strategic relations with key stakeholders – LGBT+ organizations, government officials, and corporations.Acted as a spokesperson in Spanish and represented the organization at national and international scenarios.Managed the ongoing development and delivery of a training program to LGBT+ organizations and activists – both in-person and online – in Colombia and Mexico, which trained more than 80 Latin American activists.
