ABOUT ANDRES SACRISTAN

With a MS in Civil Engineering and Structural Design and after 20 years of international experience in the construction, car-park and transportation industries, I’m currently the CEO of Cintra, the infrastructure investment unit of Ferrovial, a global international infrastructure conglomerate.My previous roles include Director of 407 ETR’s International Board of Directors, Board Member of all of Cintra’s projects in the U.S. and Director of Cintra U.S. In this last position, I lead all of Cintra U.S’ operations, an $11bn investment portfolio of infrastructure assets in Texas, Virginia and North Carolina. I was also involved in the commercial and institutional relationships of the company with different stakeholders in the U.S. market.I began my career as a construction manager in the late 1990’s. I then moved to the concessions business unit at Cintra in 2001, where I took on several positions with different responsibilities, operating in a wide range of markets and with different types of assets. During this time, I was the head of Cintra’s asset management in the U.K, European, Australian and Colombian markets. A few years later, I became the President and CEO of the 407 ETR in Toronto, a unique Infrastructure asset with a substantial B2C retail operation aside from the more traditional operation of a toll highway. I believe my experience in managing data analytics and pricing, together with a digital and mobile transformation, have been key assets for enhancing customer value on the 407 ETR. In addition to all these years in the role of Asset Manager, I’ve leading corporate transactions such as financial restructurings, corporate divestments and acquisitions. All of this rich experience has taught me solid management skills in operations, technical analysis, strategic thinking, project finance, governance, commercial relationships, digital transformation and data analytics, among others.
