Implemented system format and process improvements that increase system “auto match” flowthrough of three-way match invoices reducing number of manual touches required to process supplier invoices to completion and decreased exceptions for AP trade and inter-company invoice processing resulting in $1.3M savings of lost discounts year over year without increasing headcount. Initiated and developed strong relationships with Commodity Management, Procurement and field business partners and suppliers by reducing variances due to UOM invoicing issues and improving compliance with supplier bracket pricing discounts. Reduced three-way match exceptions by 16% for one major supplier. Proposed and engaged in site visits to build enhanced visibility into trending issues. Sites that were part of the site visit initiative had significant post-visit reductions in exceptions and lost discounts. Identified, analyzed and resolved root cause issues resulting in a decrease of 55% of duplicate invoice processing. Created and implemented a hybrid AP process for high value raw materials, saving $5.5M in the first year of implantation via the elimination of broker fees. Actively participated in the creation and onboarding of new acquisitions onboarding training implementation. Devised and implemented team KPI metrics and individual team member scorecards reviewed weekly and monthly to track productivity and quality improvement month over month.
