As Pyrotek\'s Sustainability Coordinator, I am primarily responsible for authoring our annual sustainability report, conducting annual double materiality assessments, collecting and managing sustainability KPIs from our 80+ global locations, developing and leading our Global Sustainability Council, supporting site-level performance improvement projects, and improving the vision, direction, and organization of our sustainability management system.I also take on several technical roles including responding to sustainability evaluation assessments (including EcoVadis, where I earned Pyrotek the Committed badge), performing product level lifecycle impact assessments using SimaPro, analyzing sustainability data, and calculating estimates of overall environmental performance including company-wide scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions. Finally, I lead culture development and education initiatives surrounding internal sustainability fluency. Increasing organizational literacy around these topics has been fundamental for improving our internal ability to communicate and plan for improved performance on these topics.
