ABOUT ANASTASIA MOZHAEVA
I am a Senior Lecturer specialising in video processing and visual AI. With over 10 years in the tech industry and more than 7 years in academia, I bridge applied innovation with research excellence. My work integrates academic research with industry partnerships, focusing on video processing for aerospace.Research: I explore how human visual perception can enhance visual AI, aiming to develop systems that perceive the world as humans do. Recently, my work has focused on designing visibility models based on new knowledge of the human visual system. Integrating these models into visual AI allows us to optimise deep learning algorithms, bandwidth usage and reduce computational resources, which are crucial advancements in resource-limited environments.Specialities: Electronics; Video processing research; Visual AI; Research software development.
