ABOUT ANANTH V.

As a Finance major with minors in Business Analytics & Mathematics, I am passionate about leveraging my strong analytical, quantitative, and programming skills. With these skills, in addition to my strong leadership and project management traits, I look forward to seeking opportunities both in general finance and investment management. As a former chemical engineering major, I was able to boost these skills through several undergraduate research projects in many different areas of chemical engineering such as materials science and renewable energy. These opportunities taught me to think like a technologist and apply these experiences to learn more about business development and the financial services industry. From these opportunities, I joined the Big Red Investment Club (BRIC) as a Junior Financial Analyst, where I strengthened my skills in financial modeling and financial statement analysis, in addition to writing equity analysis reports on companies both in the technology and consumer discretionary sectors. This work resulted in two reports that placed in the Top 3 in Big Red Investment Club in the top 3 and my promotion to financial analyst where I currently oversee a team of three junior analysts currently writing a report for equities in the healthcare sector. I now serve as the Director of Research for BRIC, where I oversee all industry research & development and find new investment opportunities for our portfolio.I have a very strong interest in financial analytics & finance consulting. I am very excited to see what the future holds for finance. I look forward to connecting with you and learning from you, so that I may prepare for a bright future.
