I am a former newspaper reporter turned corporate office employee.I currently work as a Premium Analyst I at AF Group as of April 28, 2025.Before I joined the corporate world in fall 2018 at Jackson National Life as an operations associate, I worked as a newspaper reporter at The Argus-Press in Owosso, Michigan.Prior to moving back to my home state of Michigan in January 2017, I discovered and shared the untold stories of Marion, Indiana. It was there I was able to successfully conduct interviews with local government and school board officials; shoot and edit my own photos/videos as needed; post content to social media; given my previous experience at HOMTV in Okemos, Michigan.My other past employment includes working as a customer care specialist at Becky Beauchine Kulka Diamonds and Fine Jewelry where I made sure every customer, whether new or existing, encountered the same above and beyond experience. It was through a friendly greeting, leading them in the right direction of their desired purchase and helping package their purchase for efficiency, that I was able to provide quality customer service.I also worked as an intern at WLNS-TV in Lansing, Michigan, during the summer of 2014. It was there I first learned the ropes of the TV news industry. I gained experience doing stand-ups in front of a camera as well as setting up interviews between sources and the reporters and assisting reporters with camera set-up upon arrival at the interview destination.I welcome all opportunities to connect and network.
