ABOUT ANA SILVIA AYALA

Professional with two Master’s degree in business administration and project management, Salvadoran national with 30 years of relevant professional experience, brings extensive knowledge including 20 years with USAID Projects, providing financial, administrative, Human Resources, income taxes, local labor laws, VAT and grants management oversight on complex, internationally funded development programs. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in both Spanish and English and collaborate with diverse governmental and NGO partners. Managing the financial, administrative, operations, logistics and grant team, ensuring compliance with local laws, HO policies and USAID regulations. Experienced with project start-up and closeout procedures, with a knowledge of the whole circle life Projects and served in multiple senior-level roles on USAID-funded projects ranging from $3 million to $54 million and providing financial oversight for grants portfolio around 11.2 million dollars. Has worked for several Americans contractors as Nathan Associates INC, PSI (Pasmo El Salvador) Democracy International, Contextos, Tetra Tech (ARD) Palladium and Currently with Louis Berger INC (WSP) serving as a join between HO, FO and USAID, in that time she got extensive experience in several cooperation topics like, Trade( CAFTA Agreement for El Salvador 2003)AID´S, education, value chains, Trade Facilitation, competitiveness economics grown, Integrity, transparency, governance and democracy. She knows the culture, customs and business the Centro America region which is a plus to give a great value to the contractor specially in the start-up project, giving advantage to American Contractor serving as join between HO with the Latin American countries Before working in Projects, she has developed strong working knowledge of cost, administrations, accounting principles and practices during more than 10 years as a general accountant with various private companies in El Salvador.
