ABOUT AMY LIVINGOOD

An original Northwest native, turned Southern transplant. Born out of the 1980\'s when my radical parents decided to fly our new family to FL to pick up an ambulance that they would eventually turn into a multi-fleet ambulance company. The wild adventure driving across the country from FL to WA solidified the entrepreneurial spirit in me. As soon as we got back from our Great American Road Trip, I was anointed with my very own mini ambulance driver uniform and spent the next few years wooing nurses in my off time of school with sweet treats and candy. I\'ve always loved meeting new people. In 2012, I pivoted and took the opposite cross country road trip with my Frenchie. Don\'t get me wrong, I love the NW, but after studying abroad in Italy and living in Argentina after college, I was ready for a radical change and, well, sunshine! I\'ve found myself in the sleepy, but charming port city of Savannah, GA. Professionally, I\'ve always been drawn to small and midsize businesses and entrepreneurs. I love the flexibility, challenge, and the many hats that come with taking a position at a growing company. With a solid foundation in business and the \"boring\" side of making sure things stay afloat, I love bringing clarity to passionate people who don\'t like the business side of doing business. My goal in every interaction is to bring simplicity to the most complex problems. My role has evolved into bridging the jargon gap between CPAs, lawyers, and other professionals. I want to make numbers less daunting for everyone. After meeting two inspiring young entrepreneurs, my career again pivoted into the public realm as Controller at a newly public company on OTC. I loved the challenge and speed at which we needed to adapt to the public audit cycle and requirements. Above all, I\'m a constant learner and seek new challenges and solutions.
