As CEO of MicroPower Direct, I bring nearly two decades of experience in the power electronics industry—and a lifetime of perspective shaped by family, adaptability, and a drive to serve both customers and colleagues.My career path started in an unexpected place: I studied political science at Union College, originally considering law, and later earned my MBA from Boston College with thoughts of a marketing career. But an internship in strategic sourcing shifted my interests toward business operations and supply chains. Growing up, I watched my father build and lead electronics companies, spending several summers learning the ropes. In he founded MPD—and I officially joined the company in 2007 when the timing felt right.Since then, I’ve had the privilege to work alongside my father in a true family business, learning every aspect of the company before stepping into ownership and leadership as he moved into semi-retirement. Today, as a WOSB-certified business, we blend tradition with innovation—modernizing our product line, expanding our distributor and representative networks nationally and internationally, and continually adapting to a fast-changing industry.Some accomplishments I’m proud of:• Expanding our catalog to power supply models serving customers worldwide• Growing our reputation for personal, responsive customer support• Successfully navigating challenges like supply chain disruptions, and market shifts• Sustaining the values and legacy of a company that’s served engineers and OEMs for more than 25 yearsAt the heart of my leadership is a focus on people—supporting engineers, empowering our team, and building long-term relationships with our customers. I believe success is driven by listening, collaboration, and always putting people first.Outside of work, I most enjoy spending time with my husband, three kids, and my parents (who live just down the road).    As CEO and owner of MicroPower Direct, I lead a family-founded company that’s grown into a trusted provider of AC/DC power supplies, DC/DC converters, and switching regulators for engineers and OEMs worldwide.I joined MPD in 2007, working closely with my father to learn every aspect of the business before stepping into full leadership.
