La Fourchette Paysanne is a local shop that opened in September 2023 in Tours- in the middle of the Loire region area - promoting sustainable food systems by actively reconnecting the urban world with the farming world. This place is animated around 3 poles of activity:🥕 A grocery activity allowing locals to do all their daily shopping, with a majority of local, organic and seasonal products.🥘 A daily take-away lunch, offering a dish, a sandwich and a dessert of the day, highlighting seasonal, healthy and colourful cuisine. All made with products from the grocery shop. An event activity offering conferences giving the floor to farmers from the Centre-Val de Loire Region and other food industry players, addressing current agriculture and food questions, to enable the general public to better understand what they consume. The events take place in the heart of the shop.
