Promoted to head of membership, I analyze costs and build financial tracking and P&L models for a subscription membership product that provides products and services to help racers perform at their best. Administering a budget of hundreds of thousands of dollars and overseeing a cross-functional team of 10, I hold accountability for over a million dollars in lifetime projected revenues. Conceptualizing and instituting SOPs for event day and devising marketing communications and compelling newsletters, my main focus revolves around retention and referrals. Within eight months, we achieved these notable outcomes to propel the product forward: Scaled hundreds of thousands of dollars in income and developed a five-year growth plan after evaluating the total addressable market, identifying serviceable obtainable markets at different advancement stages, and responding to customer feedback by offering two-pack tickets, day passes, and free trial subscriptions. Surged profits 80%, yielding hundreds of thousands of dollars, by forming a two-year product plan focused on overhead reduction, expansion of value-add benefits, and pairing business models with promotional sales and advertising plans. Gained hundreds of thousands of dollars in expense reductions by conducting on-site functional reviews of member recovery tents and 200 customer interviews to derive results, prioritize benefits and features, and re-purpose costs. I am proud of providing participants with exceptional products and services as a complementary experience for the already impressive race day. Accomplishing this without adding cost, I identified and initiated synergistic deals across personal care, fitness equipment, and supplement categories funded by sponsorship dollars and in-kind deals. Creating a product for our athletes that help them to prepare, perform and recover with world class products, services and coaching is highly fulfilling work.
