ABOUT JOÃO FRANCISCO AMÂNCIO DE MORAES

My professional career in a nutshell. I started my career at the Robert Bosch Group in 1973, company that I had been working for 39 years, starting in the Industrial Apprenticeship course – Bosch & SENAI School. I held positions in Tooling Journeyman and Technical Assistance for Test Equipments for Bosch Services, until 1987. From Technical Assistance I moved to the Assurance Quality department, occupying various functions such as, Quality of Suppliers (Supply Chain), Maintenance of the Management System (SGQ), Warranty of Starter Engines and Alternators joint with Automotive Manufacturers and Development of Suppliers according to Bosch Production System (BPS). I held Leadership position in the Quality department from 2003 to 2012. In May 2012, I joined Continental Brasil Indústria Automotiva as Supplier Quality Manager, working there until December 2019. In that role, I also had the responsibility of corporate strategic coordination of Supplier Quality Management of others Continental Automotiva plants in Brazil, disseminating the strategies received from Continental AG/Regensburg. In February 2020, I founded the company Amancio Quality Consulting for consulting and training in Management Systems (ISO, IATF and AIAG-APQP/PPAP/FMEA), Process Optimization (Lean Manufacturing, DOE/Taguchi Design of Experiments and Applied Statistics AIAG-MSA/SPC) and also Agile/SCRUM Project Management. Amancio Quality Consulting has been a service provider for training at the Automotive Quality Institute (IQA), since its foundation. In August 2022, I started in a new challenge at Institute SENAI of Technology Metalmechanics \"Roberto Mange\" in Campinas, as a Specialist in Technology for Process Optimization with emphasis on Lean Manufacturing and Integrated Management System. Among several courses and certificates, it is worth mentioning that I graduated Professional Master (stricto sensu) in Development and Optimization of Industrial Processes by the Instituto de Pesquisas Tecnológica do Estado de São Paulo (2018) and I am Certified Quality Engineer by the American Society for Quality (ASQ/CQE, since Skills and Experiences- Lean Manufacturing Consultant (Instituto SENAI de Tecnologia)- Project Management (Baldrige Foundation)- Six Sigma Green Belt (by Continental AG)- IATF 16949 and VDA6.1 Internal Auditor - ISO 14001 Internal Auditor - ISO 9001 Auditor - AIAG Processes and Standards: APQP/PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA and SPC - Design of Experiments (DOE/Taguchi)- 8D/CQI-20: Problem Solving Methodology Moderator
