ABOUT ALRINTHEA CARTER
TV Writer with a passion for half-hour comedy, hour Dramedy, Late Night Monologue, and elevated sketch comedy. I write Black women-centered narratives that focus on learning and growing with found family and coming-of-age after 35. Represented at United Talent Agency by Luke Murphy and Will Deasey and Jermaine Johnson at Zero Gravity Management. Loglines and Writing Samples available on request. Formerly a Academic affairs professional with almost two decades of experience counseling, mentoring and advising undergraduate and graduate students at Clemson University. Think of me as an academic project manager with a magic wand! I have an operational passion for leading creative events and teams by providing marketing, logistics, and training to the arts community. I have a creative passion for writing, music, photography, and improving the accessibility of art and artistic expression. I’m always ready to have a long conversation about Prince and The Muppets! My happy place is on a stage creating comedy magic, writing scripts, or behind a drum kit. I love public service, social engagement, logistics, and bold creativity!
