ABOUT ALLISON BUTTACAVOLI
As a Strategic Partnership Advisor at the State Policy Network, I work with philanthropic leaders across the country who are passionate about advancing the principles of liberty and strengthening the Network’s impact.I earned my undergraduate degree in French and History from the University of Miami and my Master of History from the University of Delaware. My graduate research focused on material and consumer culture in Modern France and its colonies, culminating in a thesis on the development of the restaurant and public eating in Paris and food advertisements in a French newspaper in Algeria in the early 20th century. This work underscores my belief that food is deeply intertwined with politics and pleasure. My fascination with 20th-century European History has significantly influenced my beliefs in limited government and my passion for championing the cause of liberty.Originally from Minnesota, I now call Miami Beach, Florida home. When I\'m not working, you can find me at a group fitness class, exploring new coffee shops, reading, or enjoying the beautiful South Florida weather with my family. I’m always looking for a book recommendation and excited to connect with others who share my passions and interests, so please don’t hesitate to reach out.
