The Epilepsy Foundation is a national non-profit whose mission is to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives. The Senior Philanthropic Giving Officer plays a critical role within the Major Gifts team at the National Office to enable methodical donor stewardship, and achievement of revenue goals to advance the organizational mission. The Philanthropic Giving Officer is responsible for establishing and managing long-term relationships with industry partners, patient advocacy organizations and other health-related stakeholders. In this role, the Philanthropic Giving Officer will implement strategies for securing financial support from an active portfolio of approximately 100 corporate partners. The position will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and cultivating a small number of new partner organizations but is primarily responsible for stewarding an existing portfolio and soliciting, and closing five and six-figure gifts so the Foundation can meet (and surpass) annually established metric goals.
