ABOUT ALLEN EAST
I work with clients in the communications, media and high technology industries to improve Product Development outcomes through issue diagnosis, operating model design, process optimization, technology enablement and change management. Having moved to consulting after a successful career in mobile device development, I really enjoy mixing up the latest thinking from Deloitte with practical lessons learned the hard way from twenty years in industry. Two areas that are of particular interest to me are how agility can be applied to hardware teams to improve development ROI, and how fixed increment development methods can help manage the ever-increasing project complexity of converged product development. My specialties; Application of Lean Principles to Product Development Agile Methods Value Stream Mapping Operating Model Design Change Management Engineering Transformation Program Management Value Identification and Realization
