SKILLS
ABOUT ALIANDRA DUARTE BARBUTTI
I hold a Bachelor\'s and Master\'s degree in Chemical Engineering from Unicamp, and I am currently pursuing an MBA in People Management at USP ESALQ. My focus is on developing the industry through people. With 16 months of academic exchange experience in the United States, including an intensive English course, two semesters of Chemical Engineering at CSULB, and a summer internship at Cleveland State University, I have gained a global perspective and enhanced my intercultural skills.Since 2023, I have been working in Process Engineering (Manufacturing Excellence) at Syngenta\'s Paulínia site, providing support for the productive areas of formulation, filling, and packaging of agricultural defenses (agrochemicals - Herbicides, Fungicides, and Insecticides). My work involves implementing improvement projects and addressing deviations, contributing to process efficiency and quality.Previously, I worked as a Trainee and Production Engineer at Suzano for 4 years, overseeing the Chemical Recovery (causticization, lime kiln, evaporation, and recovery boilers) and Utilities (ETA, ETE, TAAC, power boilers) areas. During this time, I developed and received the Green Belt title in 2021 for the \"Optimization of Caustification Efficiency\" project, which resulted in a significant financial return. Additionally, I was honored with the \"People who Inspire and Transform\" award for two consecutive years at the Limeira Unit, as voted by all factory employees. As part of my commitment to diversity and inclusion, I participate in Suzano\'s PLURAL Diversity Group as an Ambassador of the Women\'s Affinity Group. In this role, I strive to develop initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the industry, while raising awareness among leadership and employees about the importance of these issues. I was also responsible for hiring female operators and overseeing the construction of the first women\'s restroom in our industrial areas.I am excited to continue contributing to the advancement of the industry and the promotion of an inclusive and innovative work environment.
